Bio
A fun fact about me is that I have a lifelong passion for snowboarding. Tutoring offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to students' educational journeys and witness growth firsthand. The motivation in education lies in the belief that every individual has unique potential, and by providing personalized support, I aim to empower students to overcome challenges, enhance their understanding of subjects, and develop critical thinking skills. The satisfaction of seeing students succeed and fostering a positive impact on their academic lives is a driving force behind choosing to become a tutor. I believe that each student has their own unique learning style and instruction should be tailored individually. I know that all learners are able to show grown when provided with encouraging and positive feedback.
Teacher Specialization
I have taught various abilities grades K-12 through adulthood over the past 10 years. I have a Masters of Science in Special Education from California State University of Long Beach. I have taught in California and Florida over the past decade and have been a private in person tutor. I am looking forward to transferring my classroom and tutoring experience into the remote world.
