My name is Kellie Woodson and I have a very personalized approach to tutoring students. Every student learns differently and I customize my tutoring sessions to meet the needs of every learner. It is essential to identify each students goals at the start of the tutoring journey. As your tutor, I will work alongside you to identify your strengths and areas for support. We will then develop tutoring strategies that will allow you to excel in areas of in-class participation, daily assignments, quizzes/tests, and AP/College Entry/State Standardized tests. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy cooking with new recipes, hiking, bike rides, and spending time with friends and family. I also speak Spanish at the intermediate level.

I provide virtual instruction to Middle School and High School Science students. I have taught Science for 22 years and am certified to teach Middle/High School Science in Virginia. I have taught Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, AP Bio/AP Env Science, Earth Science, and Physical Science. I received my B.S. in Biology, TSU; my Masters in Science Education,NYU; my Educational Specialists Degree,Virginia Tech. I truly understand how to meet the individual needs of every student.
