Hey there! I'm Kerrie D'Esposito, an social studies tutor on a mission to turn history from boring to exciting, one "aha!" moment at a time. With my expertise, let's sail on a learning adventure together to help you gain confidence in your skills as a student of the world! Why learn with me? Deepen your knowledge with me as your tutor. My thorough understanding of state standards will help you not just survive, but blossom! I have taught 6-12 grade Social Studies, including Advanced Placement - I am well-versed in nearly all levels of social studies learning! Fun fact: When I'm not trying to make sure history doesn't repeat itself, I'm spending time with my husband, two children, and three huskies exploring nature!

I have worked in in person and virtually for over 23 years, from teaching to being a principal in both New York and Florida in all grade levels, from K-12. I have a with a BA in History & a MA in Counseling Psychology. My teaching passion is both world history and government. I believe that social studies (and writing for social studies) can be as exciting as any other subject. Additionally, I have taught, tutored, & test prepped most AP courses, including AP World, AP US GoPo, and AP Macro.
