Bio
I understand that students are at all different levels and have different strengths. I build on the students individuals needs, strengths, and weakness. I believe that students learn best when the learning is engaging and fun. I strive to help those I teach, understand the real world application of what they are learning. I know this helps students to have an increased interest to understand what they are learning. I believe in my students even when they may not believe in themselves. I have a very positive and upbeat personality and outlook on life. I want my students see that there is always a positive side of things. I have a love of teaching and helping students grow past their own expectations. I love my family, laughing and being silly with my kiddos. I enjoy being creative, reading, and playing games.
Teacher Specialization
I have a degree in Special Education with an emphasis in mild/moderate disabilities and teaching students from kindergarten to age 22. I taught eight years teaching in the classroom (brick and mortar). I have taught math, reading, writing, history, science, social skills, organization skills, functional skills, and life skills.
