Bio
Hello My name is Louise (Lou) Curelop I enjoy working with elementary school students to help them develop literacy and math skills. I am a mother a two and have owned various businesses in my lifetime, including owning and operating a before and after school program in my hometown of Leicester, MA. My program offered personalized tutoring as well as enrichment programs and I was able to help children in my community develop the skills they needed to succeed with school work. I like to think of myself as a creative and fun teacher who takes the time to develop engaging, fun and educational lessons. I believe every student has their own learning style and it's my job as a teacher to learn what the children's learning style are and present lessons in a manner in which they can understand. I enjoy working in small group and one on one with children because it gives me the opportunity to get to know the children and customize my lessons for them.

I am a certified MA. teacher with over 10 years experience. I have worked in a variety of teaching positions from Permanent Substitute Teacher, Ell Teacher, Literacy Coach as well as own and operating my own Before and After School program for 7 years. I enjoy working with elementary aged children and I love to provide engaging, creative lessons. I do everything I can to make learning a fun experience for the children.
