Hi! I am Mandy Pyle. I have a bachelor's degree in special education. I mainly work with 9th and 10th grade students in English, but I also have experience with grades 6th-8th. I am very experienced in working with students with disabilities and I have a passion for helping students learn, grow, and reach their full potential! I have always supported the emotional and academic development of students with disabilities with encouragement, understanding, and positive feedback. My compassion and my nurturing personality allows me to make connections with students and to gain their trust. My experience in teaching a diverse group of learners helps me take each student’s unique goals, needs, and interests into account. As a tutor, I create effective lesson plans and activities to accommodate each student and their learning needs. Students have even complimented me for making learning fun and easy to understand.

I have been a Special Education teacher/case manager at TVAH for 3 years. I have a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in Special Education from Stephen F. Austin State University. I have 5 years’ experience as an inclusion teacher in grades 9-12. As an Inclusion Teacher, I assisted Special Education students with their assignments in English I-IV, Biology, Environmental Systems, World Geography, World History, and US History.
