Hello, it is so exciting to be able to work with you online. I have a passion for helping students like you to understand course material. I have the ability to take literature from centuries ago and give it a modern, digestible twist so that you will be able to understand literature or concepts that we are working with, but also give you the ability to take what you have learned and apply it on your own. That is what teaching is all about, giving you the tools to continue to learn through out your life.

I have a bachelor's degree in Journalism, a certification to teach both Journalism and English, with a Master's in English and a graduate certificate in the Teaching of Writing. I spent 27 years in the class room working with students and believe that anyone can learn and it only take a little investigation to see what works for individual students to make them successful.
