Hi there! I love all things History and English because they build our empathy, communication, and critical thinking skills. I am always learning new things by asking questions, reading books, listening to music, and traveling the world--22 countries and counting! My free time is divided between gardening, board & video games, yoga, and cats. I believe students learn best when the material is relevant and accessible, so my job is not just to support your understanding of the material but to make connections, use analogies, differentiate the lesson, or apply scaffolds so you understand why you are learning the material and how to apply it to your life and goals. I want to empower you to hone your analytical skills, express yourself and your ideas confidently, be more curious about the world around you, and see things from more than one perspective because in life there is always more than one side to a story!
