Hi! I'm Ms. Connor. I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, but I currently reside in Washington, D.C. I love to spend time with my family, eat great food, and have an adventure!! I am looking forward to working together! I believe that every student can learn - it is simply a matter of finding the connection. I employ strategies that cater to a student's unique learning background, and I empower my students to advocate for themselves in and outside the classroom. Tutoring embodies my philosophy of having fun, working hard, and confronting challenges to accomplish great things! In my 5 years of teaching within the traditional classroom, I have learned so much about my students, and now I'm excited to learn more about you!

I earned my bachelor's degree in English Language Arts Education, and I've had the unique pleasure of teaching English Language Arts to every single grade from 5th to 12th grade across 5 states. I have enjoyed teaching within both the private and public sectors, instructing in general, cotaught, and advanced placement classrooms. I am certified to teach English Langauge Arts to students in 4th-12th grade, with Reading 3 and Special Education ancillary credits.
