Hello everyone! If you need a tutor who will listen carefully to you and show patience and empathy, look no further. Since every individual has their own learning style and specific needs, I hope to get to know you well, be sensitive to your needs, and tailor my tutoring to meet those needs. I can offer you lots of tips and tricks to help you learn and remember difficult concepts. We can start by working on any assignments that are due soon; meanwhile, I will take note of any gaps in knowledge that may be hindering you, then help you get caught up in those areas also. Few things in life compare to the joy of attempting something that is truly difficult and succeeding. Let's work together toward success, and have fun along the way! Here are a few things about me: my husband and I have 6 kids, all with amazingly different learning styles. We enjoy soccer, running, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, singing, dancing, preparing healthy food that tastes delicious, and laughing a lot.

Teacher Specialization

I taught high school physics and physical science in typically-sized classrooms for 2 years, and also have 33 years of tutoring experience. I have spent many years finding ways to make online tutoring as effective as being in the same room. My areas of expertise include math and science for grades 4-12. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois, and I am certified to teach both math and science.
