Bio
I believe that students learn differently and it's important for a tutor to notice what works best. I aim to build confidence in my students through improved knowledge and skills. Additionally, I hope to show my students how they learn best so they can use that information in other areas of their life. Making a connection with my students is key and that's why I'm so curious to get to know them and express my interest in their life. Here are some interesting facts about me: I am a skateboarder, tennis player, old school rap fan, and love to read about space and math.
Teacher Specialization
I have a combined total of over 20 years teaching and tutoring students of various ages. I am a certified teacher, with two degrees at the graduate level. I have a Master of Arts in Teaching from The College of New Jersey and a Master of Arts in Education from Harvard. I have also worked as an educational researcher at Harvard University studying multiple intelligences and thinking dispositions. For the past two years I have been exclusively providing online tutoring services.
