Bio
As an experienced educator, I strive to meet students where they are and challenge them to new learning, building confidence along the way. I'm flexible and creative and love to work with students' schema in order to achieve mastery of skills. I live in northeast Colorado where I have horses and cattle and do some farming. I love to get up into the mountains to hike. I love to work one-on-one or in small groups with students to both find success in academic skills and move students to critical thinking. I will help you grow because I will believe in you and honor who you are and where you want to be, both academically and personally. I can't wait to meet you.
Teacher Specialization
I've been teaching for more than 20 years in both brick and mortar schools and online for the past 10 years. I've taught everything English/language arts from fifth grade through college composition. I have a master's in English education and one in professional creative writing. I work with students of all ages.
