My name is Shea Maize. I chose to become a tutor to help students individually reach their goals. I believe every student has different strengths and it is important to find those strengths to help students understand all material. I hope to help students reach their academic goals. I love building positive relationships with students by incorporating their personal likes and interests into the content.
Teacher Specialization
I am a fourth year High School Spanish teacher. I have experience tutoring in various areas, such as all levels of Spanish, Reading/Writing, Math, Science, and History of all ages, specifically upper elementary grades, middle school, and High School. I also am very familiar with ACT and SAT testing and have helped dozens of students learn the test more and get more comfortable with the content to get them better scores.
