My name is Shoshannah Koger and I am a Mathematics lover! I was never a natural at Mathematics growing up, but I enjoyed the challenge of figuring out how to understand based on me. Now, I use the individual student to understand their thinking and learning preferences to help them succeed in the Mathematics classroom. The best thing about Math is that there are MANY ways to find a solution to a problem. Every student learns differently, so it's my job to discover what way works best for you! Mistakes are actually GREAT in Math (I'm not lying!). Mistakes are an asset, helping learn and extend knowledge as long as you reflect on them. I can't wait to get to know you and work with you to succeed at Math!

I graduated summa cum laude with my Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics from the University of Texas at San-Antonio. I graduated with my Master's Degree in Online Instruction from Southern New Hampshire University. My first 6 years were spent teaching Algebra, Algebra 2, Advanced Quantitative Resonaing, and Algebra Intervention for the STAAR test in a brick-and-mortar high school in San Antonio, TX. As an online teacher, I taught 3.5 years of Algebra and 1.5 + of Algebra Intervention.
