Bio

Hi everyone! My name is Staci Ross, and I am excited to be your tutor! I am originally from Michigan, but I have lived in Arizona since 2003. I taught in-person for several years before moving to online teaching in 2020. My educational philosophy is to meet students where they are educationally, and provide them with the tools they need. My teaching style includes a lot of I do/we do/you do, and kind and positive feedback. My goal is for you to be confident and successful in your abilities. I look forward to meeting you and working with you to achieve your educational goals!

Teacher Specialization

I have worked in education for the last 15 years. I taught in-person for several years, and I have been teaching virtually since March 2020. I started teaching full-time with Arizona Virtual Academy in July 2021, and I have tutored on and off throughout my career. I hold a Bachelor's degree in History, and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I look forward to working with you soon!
