Bio
Hi there! I have been teaching for close to 10 years, 5 years in public schools and another 3-5 years teaching online and tutoring. have taught ESL to adults, abroad in South East Asia and online. I have always wanted to help people and encourage others to make goals for themselves. As such, I turned to teaching and tutoring. I believe in student-centered learning and supporting students through differentiated learning models and support systems. I see myself as a helper that is able and willing to help students tackle their own academic strengths and weaknesses. As an educator, my goal as a tutor is to motivate students to think about why their growth is important. I put a focus on academic growth and critical thinking with the students that I work with. In order to build a positive relationship with students, I will work to create a supportive and positive online learning environment for students. My personal hobbies are reading books, traveling, baking and learning new things.
