My name is Tabitha Brown, an educator based in South Carolina. I am married and mother to 4 daughters. I enjoy reading, helping others, and learning new things each day. My educational philosophy is to be a lifelong learner throughout my career. I continue to take on new responsibilities and build my teacher toolbox. My tutoring goal is to help students learn a new skill, and build confidence in those skills. I strive to help each child gain confidence to be the best they can be. Watching students build independence and critical life skills is my mission. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time teaching, and building connections with students and their families. I work hard to show students I care by getting to know each student and their needs. I am caring, dedicated, patient, and encouraging with my students. Students respond best to teachers who truly care about them.

I am an educator with over 16 years in the field. I have taught and tutored in both brick and mortar and virtual settings. I have taught elementary through high school, all in the field of special education. I have a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and Master's in Special Education. My specialty is reading, writing, and math support. In addition to academic support, I have helped students with behavioral and life skills. I am a certified teacher in 4 states - SC, VA, MO, and TX.
