Hi there, it is a pleasure to connect! My name is Taii, and I am thrilled to support you in your learning and growth as a student! I am a 10th year educator trained in standards driven instruction for K-12 English/English Language Arts, Writing, Math, and History. I have background in Common Core, State Exam Prep ranging from New York State Exams to SBACs, and differentiated support for students with IEPs and English Language Learners. My approach to education is to understand where students are currently at with their understanding of the content, help students to identify their strengths and areas of growth, and finding different ways to make the learning clear and fun! Learning is important and so is building great relationship with my students! Outside of teaching, I love to paint, music and dancing, and photography.

My experience exists in K-12 education, and I hold a Master's in Teaching and Master's in Leadership and Administration. During my teaching years, I specialized in 5-9 Reading, Writing, Math and History. I have led students to all levels of academic growth, ranging from teaching them sounds and how to read their first words, to growing their reading level, to writing entire well-structured high school application essays, to correctly solving mathematical word problems.
