I have been teaching with STRIDE/K12 for about 5 years now, and love it! I have taught in person for several years as well. I love all things math. Tutoring is a ton of fun. One thing that I have been told is that my ability to demonstrate and explain how math works is very helpful. I like to show "why" and not just shortcuts. I love showing this because the "why" carries on to more understanding in math, be it advanced and upcoming math or misunderstood math previously taught. I have also taught my own children math throughout their education, although most of them are almost grown now and do their own thing.

I have taught and tutored all math from younger than 6th grade through Algebra II. I am a certified math teacher in Washington and Tennessee. I have taught and tutored Business and Marketing Education. I have taught computer science. I am a certified BME teacher in Washington State. I hold a Bachelor Degree majoring in Finance and minoring in Economics. I also hold a Master Degree in Mathematics Education. I specialize in Math, Business, and Computers.
