Thanks for visiting my tutoring page! When I am not spending time with my students, I am probably out enjoying nature and trying new adventures with my husband and our 4 children. We live in the great state of Texas and there are plenty opportunities to try something new! I am a dynamic, experienced, and enthusiastic educator, striving to help students make connections between what they learn and what they experience in real life, while having fun! I work to build connections with students so I can leverage their areas of strength to support the areas in which they would like to grow. I’m very diverse and flexible having taught in several different school systems across 2 states and working with students from preschool to high school. My philosophy is that I want to teach students how to learn and not just teach them information. Whatever you are working on and whatever area in which you are trying to grow, YOU CAN ABSOLUTELY DO IT! I would love to help you do so!

I have been a certified teacher for 13 years working in the public school systems in Kindergarten-5th grade. I have also been a reading interventionist, math specialist, and ACT/SAT prep teacher for high school students.
