Bio

I love learning. I know from personal experience how challenging and rewarding it can be. When I'm not learning new things, I spend my time hiking with my dog, watching anime, gaming, and listening to music. Everyone can learn. Not everyone gets the chance though. That's where I come in. I look for ways to make learning the fun kind of challenging. That looks different with each and every student. What stays the same is how much I love helping people develop the courage, curiosity, and security they need to grow as learners.

I've worked in a variety of school settings including public schools, private special education schools, community colleges, and universities. I've taught high school English and middle school mathematics as well as literature, literary theory, philosophy and logic at the college level.
