My name is AJ Sanchez. I believe it is important to teach students by filling in any gaps in learning, providing clear instructions so that they can eventually work on their own and providing enough practice so that students feel comfortable and understand the task. As a teacher/tutor I am patient and encourage my students to ask questions so that they can take an active part in their learning. I graduated with a minor in mathematics, have a bilingual teaching certification for Spanish and am trained in the 6 syllable types as a Dyslexia teacher. **Please note** This website is experiencing a glitch in which the times shown as available are not accurate. I have been a teacher for 26 years. I have taught 2nd, 3rd and 5th grade math and science , been a bilingual 3rd and 5th self contained teacher (teaches all subjects), a 6th, 7th and 8th grade math teacher, a dyslexia teacher and a 504 Case Manager. I have tutored my students before and after school as well as privately after work.
