Hello! My name is Ms. Dylik, and I am so excited to begin this learning journey with you. I take a student-centered approach to teaching, which allows for students to be active participants in their learning. My lessons encourage critical thinking, creativity, inquiry, and curiosity. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable sharing their unique perspectives and asking questions. Not all students learn the same way, so it is important that I find students’ strengths, allow them to use their own knowledge to make connections to the content, and provide different means of engagement and expression to make learning accessible. I am passionate about helping students learn in a way that works best for them so that they enjoy learning and are set up for success.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Education in Elementary Education with endorsements in Middle School Science and English as a Second Language. I have taught various ages of students in elementary and middle school for five years.
