Bio
Hi, my name is Asher, I am from Ohio and teaching is my joy and passion! I truly believe all kids can learn anything- yes including you! I enjoy making learning creative by using things to gain your interest and make challenging concepts easier to understand. Whether you need help with homework, writing an essay, getting into a required reading or studying for a test- I would love to help you reach your goal! No matter how we engage in learning during our session, you will leave with a tool for learning such as step-by-step instructions, a book recommendation, a helpful tip or guide. My favorite part of teaching is getting to know you and using your strengths and interests to help you enjoy learning, so I hope we get to work together often! Outside of the classroom, I enjoy cooking with my husband, reading/listening to books, doing yoga, going for long walks in nature, and playing with my two daughters. Teacher Specialization
I have my bachelor's in Elementary Education with a concentration in Special Education and certification to teach K-12 all subjects from Oral Roberts University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 3.9 overall GPA and 4.0 GPA in Special Education (2018). I was awarded to candidate of the year for Special Education. I obtained my masters in educational leadership with a principal licensure from the University of Cincinnati (2022). I have combined 10+ years experience K-12 grade core subjects.
