Hello!! My name is Christie Bass, and I have lived in Tennessee's oldest town, Jonesborough, my entire life!!! I live with my husband, our soon to be 17 year old son, and our 2 cats; TJ and Patches (who LOVE to make appearances on camera with me!). I love to workout, run, do anything outside, go to my husband's races, and watch Ryan throw for this track team! The beach is MY absolute favorite place and that is where I am happiest!!!

I have been an educator for 20 years. I am licensed K-8 all subjects, and I have at one point taught all of these. This is my first year with Stride and I am loving every aspect of it all while learning myself. I love trying to teach how a child learns, we all are unique and our learning styles should be no different. The grades I have taught are Kindergarten, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th - while the last few years have focused specifically on Social Studies and ELA, I am certified in all subje
