Hello, I am Cindy C. and I have 24 years of experience. Most of that time has been spent teaching elementary grades. k-3. However, I have had the opportunity to work with grades 4-6 while tutoring in small group settings. I love teaching Reading/Language Arts, math, and writing. My passion is teaching reading and writing to students. I love to spark my students' imagination. I want to engage them and inspire them to become life-long learners. I look forward to meeting you. My philosophy is to treat each student with kindness. and respect. I believe that the classroom should be welcoming, and each student should be made to feel comfortable. Establishing a good rapport with students is very important. You do this by getting to know one another and finding out what interests each student. The teacher should also be fair and consistent.

I have many years of experience working with students of various grade levels, k-6. I have experience teaching whole and small groups and individual, 2:1, and 3:1 tutoring. In addition, I have online teaching and tutoring experience. I have been teaching online for six years. Although I have had a lot of experience teaching, my strengths are in tutoring and small-group instruction.
