Bio
Hello! I live in sunny north Texas but am a native north easterner, where I loved doing gymnastics and playing outside, especially in the snow! After moving to Texas as a teen, I was lucky enough to get to own a horse. As an animal lover, I've also owned a great german shepherd, numerous cats, and many rabbits (I have 2 right now!). I love hiking & camping. As a teacher, I enjoy getting to know my students' passions so I can try to incorporate examples that include their interests. I LOVE hearing jokes from students to kick off sessions! I believe students learn in many different ways, so I strive to get to know them and what is most enjoyable for them in their journey to mastery. I enjoy trying as many different avenues I can come up with when working with students who are having difficulty with learning specific concepts. Parent input is most definitely welcomed! I look forward to helping all students master content and do so in a fun, interactive way that is memorable.
