Hi! I am Kathleen Ford and am excited to be your tutor! I strive to create engaging and interactive lessons that encourage active participation, collaboration, and hands-on experiences. Ultimately, my goal is to inspire and equip students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to succeed academically and thrive as responsible global citizens. Establishing open lines of communication is crucial. I encourage students to express their thoughts, concerns, and interests. It is important to listen actively, empathetically, and without judgment. This helps in understanding their perspectives and builds trust. I grew up in New Jersey and now live in Kansas. I love spending time with my grandson and exploring my new surroundings here in Kansas. Being an educator keeps me on my toes, and I enjoy learning from my students just as much as teaching them!
