Hello! My name is Kayla Perez. I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and am a certified Elementary school teacher. My favorite subject in elementary education is Math, but I also love taking students on a journey and experiencing all different types of literature and fundamentals of reading. Working in different grades and working as an ESE teacher has given me the tools to understand the ins and outs of all students different learning styles. I enjoy supporting students through their academic journey and seeing their "light bulb" moments are what keep my passion for teaching alive. When I am not teaching or tutoring, I enjoy time with my family. I look forward to guiding you on your academic journey of success.
Teacher Specialization
I have worked a total of 9 years teaching and this will be my 3rd year teaching online. I have tutored students in both ELA and Math for grade levels Kindergarten- 5th grade. I have also worked as an ESE support teacher and ELL support teacher. My Bachelor's degree is in Psychology and I am a certified Elementary Education teacher. My years of experience and my educational background allows me to better understand a student's learning style and how I can assist them reach their full potential!
