Bio
My educational teaching philosophy is that every child is valuable and can learn. I implement meaningful, hands-on, creative, and flexible lessons. I firmly believe that young minds need encouragement and vehicles for exploration such as art, foreign language, sports, dance, drama, and music. I have a solid background to teach K-8 language, math, science, and social studies. I also tutor certain HS subjects such as Algebra I and II. I love art and sharing my passion with all learners. Moreover, I have taught art history and speak Italian and some French. My teaching style encourages asking questions, exploring new ideas, and inspiring growth through connections and fun! Sometimes, students need focused practice on certain skills to develop and grow, and I am the tutor to help any student succeed. I give positive praises as I tutor and can help all kids meet their potential through my targeted supports. In my free time, I bike, swim, and paint. Let's learn together!
