Bio
Welcome, I have been teaching part-time since 2004. I have teaching experience working in elementary classrooms as a substitute teacher in addition to tutoring 1:1 or in small groups in tutoring centers and private homes. For the past 10 years, I have taught online with students of all ages and ability levels, including students with mild, moderate, and severe learning differences. The majority of my teaching experience has been with elementary age children, but I also have experience working with middle and high school students. I have experience working in-person and online with both native English speakers and ESL students. I have a warm, engaging, and encouraging teaching style. I take pride in being organized and helpful to students. Sometimes students have even told me that they "are surprised the class is already over, that it was fun for them, and that they wish they could stay longer!" I have been a published children's author. I look forward to teaching!
