My approach to tutoring is tailored to each individual student's needs. I take the time to understand their unique learning style and adapt my teaching strategies to fit their needs. This personalized approach has allowed me to see incredible growth in my students' academic abilities and confidence. As an experienced tutor, I take pride in creating a warm and welcoming environment for my students. I believe that creating a safe and comfortable space is crucial to building trust and rapport with my students. When a student feels comfortable and supported, they are more likely to engage with the material and achieve their academic goals.

I have 14 years experience as an educator. Nine of those years are in special education and nine years in elementary school. I have taught grades 2,3,5 and self contained. I also have six years experience in middle school. While in middle school I have taught, 6th and 7th grade ELA and as an ESE support facilitator in 7th grade. I also have the following certifications: -ESOL endorsement -Master's Degree in Education -Certified in Special Education
