Hi! Hola! My name is Mercy Sendros-Iglesias; I love children, and educating young minds is my calling. With positive reinforcement, I create a safe learning space where my students develop a growth mindset and understand that making mistakes leads to more knowledge. During our sessions, my goal is to meet my students’ needs by implementing interactive engaging activities that are sure to awaken a love for learning. I encourage my students to communicate before, after, and after our sessions and anytime they have questions.
Teacher Specialization
For over 30 years, I’ve been privileged to do what I love, teaching and learning. I am Florida Certified in Elementary Education and Spanish K-12 with a Master's in Education. I have worked as a language instructor and tutor of English and Spanish in oral proficiency, writing, grammar, and literature. This has prepared me to be an effective tutor with the ability to provide my students with individualized content to meet their needs. My passion is guiding students to success!
