Hi, I am Monique Burey. I am teacher with the educational philosophy that everyone can learn. My goals for tutoring are to help you improve in your targeted areas and help you to graduate. The way I build relationships with students is by communicating effectively; sharing information; and providing modeling in lessons.
Teacher Specialization
For over 10 years, I have taught pre-school, elementary, middle, high school, and college students. Content areas have included special education; core (ELA, Math, Science, Social Sciences); Career and Technical Education (Business, Computer, Arts); test prep; college and career exploration/readiness. I have a masters degree and specialize in curriculum and instructional design and work-based learning. I am a great tutor/teacher because of my experience with all levels of education.
