Bio
Hi! I love all things reading. I currently teach students with dyslexia for K12. I enjoy nature, hiking, camping, beaches, mountains, trying new vegan recipes, working out, and listening to music. In order to meet students' different learning styles, I believe it is my responsibility and passion to embrace their styles and adapt my teaching to fit students' needs. Providing multisensory approach, timely feedback, resources, and being an empathetic teacher is what my educational philosophy is. I would like to see my students be challenged while receiving the upmost support from me through academic and emotional learning. The goal is to have students be independent and confident scholars. In order to build relationships with my students, priority is to make the time to do so by icebreakers and incorporating interests in lessons. Hope to teach you soon!
Teacher Specialization
I became certified as a teacher in 2005. My certifications are Bilingual Generalist and Special Education. Additionally, I have dyslexia training. My experiences include bilingual general education teacher, special education inclusion teacher, and currently a dyslexia teacher for K12. My master's degree is in Education, Teacher Leadership.
