Mabuhay! Greetings! I am Miss Ruby Taban and I can't wait to have a tutoring session with you! Teaching has always been my passion, I grew up in a family where most members are teachers and they have influenced me greatly. I always have high expectations for my students because I believe everyone has that potential and ability to learn. 'No child should be left behind' is my favorite mantra as a teacher. All children are unique, and one can learn differently from the other, that is why I am committed to provide a friendly-stimulating learning environment where students can grow mentally, emotionally and socially.
Teacher Specialization
I have been in the education field for 15 years. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education year 2008 and have become a licensed teacher in the same year. During my 15 years as an educator, I have taught students in grades K-6. I am a classroom teacher, teaching all subject areas. I am also a Tutor in our school's After School Program, and I've been in this program for 5 years.
