A 16-year experienced, enthusiastic educator, creating an engaging and structured classroom learning environment. Student-focused, building strong connections with each student to know their own needs and interests within instruction. Flexible, extremely organized, and adapts & multitasks well. Implements a positive, incentive-based classroom learning system with clear expectations for positive behavior & success. I am passionate about many uses of multisensory learning in brick-and-mortar and virtual classrooms. I’m diverse and flexible having taught in several different school systems across 3 different states: Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi. A mama of two, I strive to teach virtually full-time and tutor just as I teach my children at home. My specialties when teaching and tutoring live with you are strong connections, empathy, and patience. A full-time Stride educator, I am technology fluent using Engageli and adding rigor to lessons.
